Allen & Overy has teamed up with Bridge Consulting International and Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge on a series of vital Partner development programmes and strategic implementation projects.

Allen & Overy (A&O) is an international legal practice comprising Allen & Overy LLP and its affiliated undertakings. With approximately 4,800 staff, including some 430 Partners, working in 25 major centres worldwide they provide effective, co-ordinated and decisive legal advice across three continents.

In early 2004, A&O retained Bridge and Judge Business School to design, develop and deliver a customised and focused leadership programme for their senior partners. A&O recognised that they could achieve sustained business improvement through the learning and development of their own people. World-class faculty and designers worked closely and collaboratively with A&O's top executives to develop the programme. The goal of this programme was to help participants gain the skills necessary to drive sustainable profitability. The first programme was delivered in March 2004 with much success.

The success of this programme led A&O to team with us on numerous additional leadership programmes as well as strategic implementation projects:

The original leadership programme is now required for all senior partners and is an integral part of their development. A second module has also been added.

New or enhanced programmes have also been developed and delivered for senior associates, new partners, and mid career partners.

Finally, the client is leveraging the significant business expertise of our business executives, as well as the leading thinking from Judge Business School, to initiate, develop, and drive critical projects in areas such as firm strategy, new market entry, client strategy, and partner career management
